I've overdone the blusher.  What shall I do?

Simple!  Load up cotton ball or powder puff, dip it into loose powder and apply over blushed  area.  Don’t use water or cleanser or makeup wipe, work with what you’ve got and tone it down with loose powder!

How can I cover under eye bags?

How can I cover under eye bags?

Find a concealer which is correct colour and specifically designed for going under eye area.  Apply product using finger or brush to the very darkest area of the eye, using middle finger tap and blend.  Repeat as required.

If you apply too much and you get a panda eye, sweep a clean cotton bud around the area to remove the excess.

How to remove make up properly

How to remove make up properly

You will need: Eye cleanser, facial cleanser, cotton pads, towels, moisturiser, toner and cleansing wipes

1.       Make up should be removed from everywhere it was applied from. Review and think back on the process when it was applied.

2.       Choose a cleanser.  Soap can dry your skin and be harsh on the eyes.  Your cleanser should suit your skin.  Experiment till you find a cleanser which suits you.  For the eyes, use a specific eye cleanser to protect your eye area which is most delicate.

3.       Start with the lipstick or areas with heaviest makeup.  Wipe with a cotton pad from lip line towards the centre of the mouth.

4.       Clean eyes carefully.  Remove mascara and eye shadow from the lid of the eyes. Place a little cleanser on a cotton pad and close eyes.  Carefully run downwards and then upwards on lashes.  This removes mascara from top of eye lids.  Try not to stretch the delicate skin area around the eyes.  Take a fresh cotton pad with some eye cleanser and rub along the lid outwards along the hair line.

5.       Clean rest of the face using a general cleanser or facial wash on a cotton pad.

6.       Toner.  Place a little toner on a cotton pad and run across skin to remove the cleanser more easily.

7.       Rinse your face with clean water and pat your face dry.

8.       Consider using a cleansing wipe if you’re in a rush (Optional).

9.       Moisturise your face.

How to apply mascara

Step 1: Select your mascara.  To add definition choose a black mascara.

Step 2: Curl your lashes ensuring to apply any eyeshadow or eye liner first.

Brandish your wand!   Wipe excess masacara onto opening of mascara bottle.  Start by applying the wand to base of outer lash.  Draw wand gently upto you tips, repeat this step moving to middle and inner lash.

For girls with thin and short lashes, allow the first coat dry and go for a second coat.

Step 4:
The finishing touches!   Apply one coat to your bottom lashes which really opens up your eyes.  Gently use a mascara comb to declump .  Use finger nails to remove any bags of mascara that have collected to the tips of your lashes.  Use cotton swab with a hint of makeup remover to clean up any smudges.
